We are seeking a skilled Mig Welder to join our team in Vermillion, SD. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality Mig welding on metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the fabrication of metal structures and assemblies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mig Welder or similar role.
- Proficiency in Mig welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Welding certification is a plus but not required.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $21-$27 per hour based on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and holidays.
