Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction Activities

  • Conduct project site evaluations and walkthroughs.
  • Develop logistics strategies and construction methodologies.
  • Generate quantity take-offs across various disciplines.
  • Participate in constructability assessments as part of the extended design team.
  • Engage actively in the proposal and interview processes with general contractors.

Safety Management

  • Perform daily inspections of the project site.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Director to create Site-Specific Safety Plans.
  • Deliver site-specific safety training, including regular Toolbox Talks.
  • Establish and execute a site logistics plan.
  • Ensure a safe and efficient working environment for all team members and subcontractors.
  • Oversee Job Hazard Analysis and high-risk activities in conjunction with the Safety Director.
  • Prepare safety reports tailored to individual client requirements.

Field Operations Management

  • Provide supervision and guidance to the construction team and subcontractors.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving and effective dispute resolution skills.
  • Monitor and manage subcontractor responsibilities.
  • Experience in managing projects within a multi-building or campus environment.
  • Allocate resources and manpower to meet project timelines and client expectations.
  • Coordinate all field operations with the client.
  • Document daily activities through comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with project management to achieve project objectives.
  • Engage with building officials for permitting and compliance.
  • Work closely with the owner, architect, and engineering teams to address complex challenges efficiently.
  • Track third-party testing and manage project logistics.

Scheduling and Meetings

  • Develop, monitor, and update the Master Schedule.
  • Work with project management to assess project progress.
  • Identify potential project risks and propose solutions.
  • Prepare rolling schedules for project timelines.
  • Facilitate weekly subcontractor meetings with project management.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with owners, architects, and contractors.
  • Review and comprehend RFI, submittal, and change order logs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with high-end interior build-out projects.
  • Resourceful in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
