About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. As a key member of our Property & Buildings Team, you will play a crucial role in planning and conducting work that requires judgment, independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

The successful candidate will have experience in managing small to mid-size projects, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices. They will be responsible for preparing basic deliverables and products, including calculations, drawings, and specifications, as well as setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare project specifications and design mechanical systems, including heating and cooling loads, while adhering to our QA/QC process.
  • Select and layout mechanical equipment, such as pumps, chiller, fans, and boilers.
  • Develop project plans and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, owners, and building managers to discuss future and current projects.
  • Responsible for meeting client project goals and objectives.

About You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and prior mechanical design experience.
  • Engineer in Training Certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of code compliance requirements and industry standards.
