Employment Type: Full Time (40 hours/week); Non-exempt

Reports to: Vice President of Community Development & Housing

Location: SE Portland

Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly wage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries from residents and effectively manage grievances, concerns, and feedback.
  • Enhance and maintain the electronic filing system for the Community Development & Housing program, including data entry and document management.
  • Handle incoming mail for the program, ensuring timely responses and appropriate distribution.
  • Lead and assist with special projects as directed by team members within the Community Development & Housing program.
  • Support the Vice President of Community Development & Housing with property inspections as required.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in human services or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years in an administrative support capacity is strongly preferred.
  • Background in customer service is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and relationships is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
