We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join our team at Humana. As a key member of the IT Operations team within IT Finance, you will play a critical role in providing financial transparency and support to our senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic and operational decisions, including analyzing industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast our financial and competitive position.
- Reporting and Presentations: Develop and present financial reports to senior management on a regular basis, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Business Case Development: Collaborate with IT leadership to develop business cases for investments and transactions, ensuring a thorough understanding of financial implications and potential returns.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with associates to increase projecting and budgeting accuracy, and develop and utilize tools, technologies, and practices to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Experience: 5 or more years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting, with a proven track record of leading groups and/or initiatives.
- Leadership Skills: Experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies, with a strong ability to lead and manage special projects.
- Communication Skills: Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.
- IT Finance Experience: Prior experience working in Finance/Accounting function within an IT organization, with a strong understanding of capitalized technology labor costs and ledger/balance sheet treatment.
- Financial Systems: Experience with Apptio or application TCO, as well as transformation management experience related to project financials.
- Oracle Experience: Oracle and/or Oracle Projects experience, with a strong understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
