We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to join our team at Nanobiosym, a pioneering company in Cambridge, MA. Our innovative technologies are revolutionizing the field of molecular diagnostics, and we need talented individuals to help us scale up our operations.

Job Summary

The Technical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of our High-Complexity Testing CLIA Lab. This includes selecting test methodologies, verifying procedures, and establishing performance criteria. The successful candidate will also be responsible for resolving technical problems, ensuring patient test results are accurate, and providing training to testing personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Select and implement test methodologies that meet clinical use requirements
  2. Verify procedures and establish performance criteria for testing
  3. Enroll the laboratory in approved PT programs and establish quality control protocols
  4. Resolve technical issues and ensure corrective actions are taken
  5. Ensure patient test results are accurate and reliable
  6. Provide training and in-service education to testing personnel
  7. Evaluate the competency of testing personnel and document performance
Qualifications
  1. Qualified as a Director for high-complexity testing
  2. OR Qualified as a Technical Supervisor for high complexity testing
  3. OR Doctoral degree in clinical laboratory science or chemical, physical or biological science with 1 year training and experience in high-complexity testing
  4. OR Master's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience in high-complexity testing
  5. OR Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or chemical, physical or biological science and 1 year training and experience in high-complexity testing
  6. OR Associate degree in medical laboratory technology (or pulmonary function) and 2 years laboratory (or blood gas analysis) training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing
