Job Title: Residential Counselor

At MAB Community Services, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities in our cluster homes, promoting their personal growth and community membership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to participants in cluster homes, ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
  • Assist participants with daily living activities, such as bathing, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Advocate for participants' choices, interests, and needs, ensuring their Individual Support Plan (ISP) is implemented.
  • Provide transportation to community activities, appointments, and medical visits.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Coordinator and other team members to ensure high-quality care and support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with participants, families, and community professionals.
  • Valid MA driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry lightweight and moderately heavy objects.
  • Comfort with computers and ability to learn new reporting software.
Work Schedule:

Thursday 3p-11p, Friday 2p-11p, Saturday 9a-11p

JOA RC1 Tuesday 3-11p, Wednesday 2p-8p. Thursday/Friday 2p-11p, Saturday 3p-11p
