About the Role:
  • Assess and monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.
