We are seeking a highly qualified Dental Hygiene Adjunct Faculty to join our team at the VCU School of Dentistry. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to share their expertise and contribute to the development of future dental hygienists.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising dental hygiene students in clinical settings, providing guidance and mentorship to help them develop the knowledge and skills required to provide exceptional oral healthcare to diverse patient populations.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and instruct dental hygiene students in clinic sessions, ensuring they meet the standards of the program.
  • Attend faculty meetings and participate in required training to stay up-to-date with best practices and program requirements.
  • Model the expertise expected of a dental hygiene professional, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to ongoing education.

**Requirements:**

  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dental hygiene.
  • Current dental hygiene license.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a hygienist.
  • Current CPR card.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment and fostering inclusivity.

**Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching or mentoring experience.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
