Job Purpose:

The General Manager will oversee the sales performance, guest experience, operations, hiring, and talent development for our Austin location. This role requires a strong leader who can create an environment that exceeds guests' expectations, with maximum productivity, profitability, and sales results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exceed sales and plan goals through effective sales strategies and team leadership.
  • Implement active product selling and sampling in-store and at the sample carts.
  • Foster a guest-obsessed culture that prioritizes the guest experience and delivers on sales goals.
  • Manage teams of hourly team members, including interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent.
  • Conduct business reporting and guest insights to understand, troubleshoot, and follow-up on opportunity areas.
  • Manage the store's P&L, KPIs, and inventory management.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, operational excellence, food safety, and handling.
  • Maintain a schedule that aligns with guest and business needs.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in retail or restaurant management.
  • Knowledge and interest in health, fitness, and/or wellness.
  • Ability to build guest relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Adapt and embrace new procedures, processes, and shifts to priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in sales principles, KPI deliverables, and guest service practices.
  • California Food Handler Card or applicable state-specific requirement at the time of hire is preferred.
  • Success managing a profit and loss statement or comparable financial reporting.
