Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $24.00 to $49.00, depending on experience, credentialing, and career advancement through our CareerTrax leveling system. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

In addition to the base pay, we also provide shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends. The shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum and vary as follows:

  • Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00 Shift Differential
  • Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00 Shift Differential
  • Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50 Shift Differential
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care department in Charlestown, MA. As an ICU Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Triage and obtain patient history
  • Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
  • Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
  • Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
  • Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
  • Mentor and train other coworkers
