Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver - Support Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live well and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
- Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
- Assist people with their personal hygiene and support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
- Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
- Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
- Competitive Pay: $14.00/hour for all shifts
