About the Job

Healthcare Support Permanent Placement is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join their team in a permanent placement role.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory care, with a focus on providing high-quality patient services. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy and aerosol therapy
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
  • Current Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License
  • Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) accredited program
  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred)
  • At least one year of experience in respiratory care
