Job Overview

Position: Facility Maintenance Associate at REIMAGINE RECREATION

This part-time, flexible role (0-25 hours/week) focuses on ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and organization of our recreation facility. Exceptional performance and teamwork may lead to opportunities for a full-time position with benefits. Compensation ranges from $12 to $15 per hour, based on experience, with a review after 90 days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee front desk operations, including phone inquiries and client interactions.
  • Coordinate facility usage in alignment with the scheduled activities.
  • Manage walk-in clients at the front desk.
  • Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, offices, sports fields, and courts through sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
  • Prepare and dismantle spaces for activities such as volleyball and basketball games or special events.

Additional tasks include:

  • Disposing of hazardous waste as required.
  • Emptying and sanitizing waste containers.
  • Rearranging and dusting furniture and fixtures.
  • Mixing cleaning solutions to appropriate concentrations for various tasks.
  • Using industrial mops and machines for floor cleaning and waxing.
  • Washing windows, blinds, and walls with designated cleaning solutions.
  • Operating wet/dry vacuums for effective cleanup.
  • Reporting minor repairs and safety concerns to the Facility Manager.
  • Washing and folding cleaning towels.
  • Setting up and taking down tables, chairs, and other equipment for large gatherings.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role.
