Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitalist Physician to lead our Hospitalist Program at Williamson Medical Center. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, cost-effective, and evidence-based medical care to hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate care for patients at discharge and facilitate hand-off to outpatient physicians
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Hospitalist Program, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and compliance with clinical pathways
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine the best care plan for hospitalized patients
  • Prescribe or recommend pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies, including controlled medications
  • Communicate with primary care physicians and specialists as needed during admission and at discharge
Requirements
  • Current licensure by the State of Tennessee as a medical doctor or osteopathic physician
  • Current DEA number
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current ACLS certification
