Sportsbook Server

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sportsbook Server to join our team at Lago Resort & Casino LLC. As a Sportsbook Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests in the Sportsbook lounge area.

• Provide World-Class Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
• Menu Knowledge and Upselling: Have a thorough understanding of our menu and beverages, and utilize upselling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
• Point of Sale System Operation: Operate the Point of Sale System with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring seamless transactions.
• Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service, and communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
• Adherence to Standards: Maintain a high level of cleanliness and adhere to our standards for food service and sanitation, OSHA, and Hazcom regulations.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and adapt to changing situations and priorities.

• Minimum 2 Years of Experience: Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an upscale, high-volume establishment, preferably in a food or beverage service role.
• Knowledge of Sports and Menu: Demonstrate a basic understanding of sports and menu items, and be able to communicate effectively with guests.
• Attention to Detail and Accuracy: Possess excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts.
• Physical Demands: Be physically mobile, with the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 lbs., and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Attend Required Training Sessions: Attend required training sessions offered by the casino, and obtain required licenses.
• Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Have knowledge of local laws and regulations, and take the necessary steps to ensure compliance.
• Report Exceptions and Violations: Report any exceptions, fraud, or potential violations to the appropriate levels of management.
