Key Responsibilities
  1. Unwrap coils, baskets, or reels and accurately tag them.
  2. Weld metal wire ends together to feed through machinery, applying insulation as needed.
  3. Set up machinery according to order requirements.
  4. Consistently monitor machine processes to ensure proper settings and quality.
  5. Weigh completed reels and complete paperwork, recording and entering data accurately.
  6. Use micrometers to measure wire.
  7. Place completed reels in designated areas.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and associates.
  9. Read and understand manufacturing instructions.
  10. Follow plant work rules, work instructions, safety rules, and established processes, procedures, and practices.
  11. Maintain a clean work area and utilize tools, including wire cutters, pliers, wrenches, hammer, micrometers, and computers.
