Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Staybridge Suites Reno, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work, including registering guests, making reservations, and preparing daily reports. You will also be responsible for balancing transactions, conducting security walks, and maintaining the front desk operation during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Balance the day's work, including movie revenue, telephone postings, valet laundry, server's and desk agent's paperwork, and other transactions.
  • Guest Services: Register guests, make reservations, and handle guest requests and issues during the overnight shift.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensure all areas are locked and secured, and respond to emergency situations.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain the front desk operation during the overnight shift, including answering phones, handling guest requests, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare daily reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Accounting Principles, proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
