The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, with experience in proposal development, team leadership, and project management. You will be responsible for supervising a small team of marketing specialists, overseeing the work of other marketing team members, and facilitating team training, mentorship, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of winning proposals and presentations
- Supervise a team of marketing specialists
- Oversee the work of other marketing team members
- Facilitate team training, mentorship, and professional development
- Collaborate with pursuit teams to develop win strategies
- Provide business intelligence on clients, competitors, and HNTB
- Organize and facilitate pursuit strategy meetings
- Support client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings
- Lead training and education for new hires
- Provide input on recruitment, hiring, development, and retention of staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field
- 6 years of relevant experience, or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Transportation infrastructure marketing experience (preferred but not required)
- Quality assurance and quality control of marketing materials/technical documents
- Experience serving as a supervisor or similar oversight role
- Strong mentorship and team leadership and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Knowledge and/or familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communications capabilities
- Proficiency in common grammar, punctuation, proofing, and business writing
