Job Overview

DXP Enterprises is seeking a skilled Pump Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Innovative Pumping Solutions (IPS) group, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps, as well as related rotating equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and fabricate pumps and related equipment
  • Install and remove pumps and rotating equipment
  • Perform mechanical seal and parts replacement in the field
  • Start up packaged pump systems
  • Conduct rotating equipment alignments
  • Rebuild pumps in the shop
  • Troubleshoot rotating equipment and systems

Requirements:

  • Pump experience preferred, but a strong mechanical background and good work ethic are essential
  • Laser alignment equipment and vibration analysis experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional outdoor environment with temperatures ranging from -10 to 100 F
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and 100 lbs. assisted
