Responsibilities
  • Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
  • Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment to help you diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications to ensure high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Honda Service Technician experience preferred to help you develop your skills and knowledge
  • B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent to ensure you have a solid foundation in math and science
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination to help you perform complex repairs and tasks
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills to help you diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Excellent customer service skills to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Basic computer competencies to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced environment to help you stay engaged and motivated
  • Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively to help you work well with others and achieve common goals
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications to help you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
  • Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment to help you diagnose and repair complex issues
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record to ensure you can safely operate company vehicles
  • Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
