Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing various cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and power washers
  • Performing thorough cleaning of windows, doors, and walls, while promptly addressing any spills
  • Coordinating maintenance of cleaning equipment and overseeing facility repairs
  • Implementing infection control measures and managing pest issues
  • Restocking supplies, managing waste disposal, and ensuring overall cleanliness
  • Supervising program participants and driving initiatives for continuous improvement
  • Providing support to emergency shelters and documenting work tasks
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles
  • Strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards and adhering to safety protocols
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle cleaning agents
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing situations, and pay attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to engage with diverse populations
  • Flexibility in scheduling and possession of a valid driver's license
