Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at Thrive Preschool. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of our schools, providing a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine building maintenance, including repairs, replacements, and installations of doors, windows, plumbing, HVAC systems, and other building systems.
  • Conduct grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and pruning of grass, trees, and plants.
  • Perform general industrial maintenance, including installation and repair of equipment and devices.
  • Provide prompt and positive responses to maintenance requests from school directors and management.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of general building maintenance experience.
  • Possess a working knowledge of accepted practices, processes, materials, and tools of the maintenance trades.
  • Own a set of standard maintenance tools for jobs including light plumbing and electrical, HVAC, painting, groundskeeping, etc.
  • Keen eye for detail and ability to identify probable issues before they arise.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, including solid written and spoken English (bilingual English/Spanish ideal).
  • Excellent time management skills, with intentional and reflective professional practices.
  • Must have a valid CO driver's license and a working vehicle for commuting to and from schools.
