Position Overview:

TEKsystems is in search of a qualified Windows VDI Systems Administrator with a focus on Citrix technologies to provide support for a federal agency. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a mix of onsite and remote work. Candidates must possess a Secret clearance initially, with the potential for upgrade to TS/SCI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including DNS, Group Policy Objects, and DHCP.
  • Maintain and update master VDI Windows images.
  • Conduct software upgrades, Windows patch installations, and firmware updates.
  • Configure systems in accordance with security protocols, including DISA STIGs and ACAS scans.
  • Oversee Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVA&D) and Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS).
  • Facilitate upgrades for Citrix applications and hardware as necessary.
  • Integrate Dell Wyse terminals into the environment.
  • Support daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based systems.
  • Provide assistance during unexpected system outages and service interruptions.
  • Resolve Tier 3 support requests efficiently.
  • Document processes for management, create/update Standard Operating Procedures, and conduct briefings for staff and clients.

Security Clearance Requirement:

Must hold a Secret clearance to begin and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Citrix NetScaler; alternative experience with NLB and F5 will be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix Web Application Firewall (WAF).
