Job Summary:

The Jewish Federation Los Angeles seeks a highly skilled and experienced CSSI Analysis Center Manager to lead our Intelligence Operations team. As a key member of our Community Security Initiative, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Intelligence Analysts, monitoring and analyzing regional and local information and intelligence, and developing actionable intelligence deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate a team of Intelligence Analysts to ensure the production and analysis of high-quality intelligence products.
  • Intelligence Analysis: Monitor, collect, vet, and disseminate regional and local information and intelligence to support the Community Security Initiative.
  • Threat Monitoring: Conduct regular monitoring sweeps through online open sources and social media to identify potential security and operational threats.
  • Intelligence Product Development: Analyze threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Research and Development: Conduct in-depth research on regional security issues, including terrorism, hate groups, crime trends, and reputational concerns.
  • Vendor Management: Manage CSI Analysis Center vendor contracts in coordination with the VP of CSI.
  • Intelligence Product Improvement: Lead the development of new intelligence products and analyze existing products to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Data Mining: Assist in identifying potential high-interest intelligence data through extensive data mining of internal and OSINT content.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with law enforcement and develop information/intelligence resources throughout the region.
  • Communication: Draft and review intelligence products, and provide analysis to relevant partners.
  • Emergency Response: Manage CSI Database and oversee emergency communication and analysis programs.
  • Special Events: Oversee the planning and logistics of CSI Intelligence briefings and special events.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence Studies, Regional Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or equivalent military/professional intelligence training. Master's Degree in corresponding field of study a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years' professional or military experience in research, intelligence analysis, and development of intelligence products/reports.
  • Team Management: Minimum 3+ years' experience supervising and motivating a cohesive team of intelligence analysts.
  • OSINT Skills: Must possess advanced OSINT skills and experience collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce notifications, assessments, and reports.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, GitHub, CEM platforms, case management, and analytical/data mining software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication, technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required.
  • Flexibility: Must be flexible and possess the ability to function and problem-solve in stressful situations.
  • Team Player: A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
