About the Role:

As a Data Scientist for Public Health Response, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development of data pipelines and repositories to collect and analyze data from various sources, including labs, hospitals, and emergency departments.
  • Providing data modeling, AI, and forecasting services to support public health emergency response efforts.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify data gaps and develop effective data management strategies to support public health response efforts.
  • Developing data visualizations and reports to support data-driven decision making.
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to develop data-driven solutions to support public health response efforts.

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist with:

  • A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as epidemiology, biostatistics, or computer science.
  • At least 8 years of experience in data analysis, scientific research, and epidemiology.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and developing data visualizations.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
