Optum WA, a leading healthcare organization, is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery team in Seattle, WA.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to work alongside our experienced surgeons and medical staff. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons with surgical procedures, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care
  • Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in hospital rounds, admitting, and discharging patients
  • Help with call coverage, in rotation with the team
Requirements
  • Physician Assistant Certification
  • Unrestricted licensure in Washington or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Current DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • Current BLS, ACLS certification
  • EMR Proficient
