Position Overview:
As an essential member of CEMAK TRUCKING INC, the Tire Maintenance Specialist will oversee the evaluation, repair, installation, and replacement of tires on various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and fleet units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and reliability of tires, ensuring they function harmoniously with other vehicle systems.
- Respond to roadside assistance requests for tire-related concerns, minimizing downtime while adhering to safety protocols.
- Execute tire mounting and balancing tasks to guarantee optimal vehicle performance and safety.
- Monitor tire pressure and longevity to maximize tire lifespan.
- Conduct routine tire assessments and gather data to evaluate tire performance and durability.
- Visit various locations to ensure compliance with proper procedures and inflation standards.
- Organize and allocate road and fleet services efficiently.
- Manage tire inventory and control expenses, maintaining adequate stock levels and performing regular audits for accuracy.
- Uphold company standards in all tire-related operations and communications.
- Verify that all vendors meet satisfactory criteria.
- Ensure compliance with D.O.T. regulations and safety policies.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role. Work hours may vary, and candidates must be available six days a week (Monday to Saturday) and be prepared to work overtime as required.
Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00, depending on experience.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

- Attention to detail and a solid understanding of vehicle mechanical repairs.

Travel Requirements:
Travel may be necessary.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
- Valid unrestricted California Driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- 1-2 years of experience in the tire industry.
