Job Summary

Holliday Rock is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform engine and emission maintenance, repairs, and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.

  • Removes components for repair or replacement, including injectors, starters, water pumps, radiators, brakes, and more.
  • Knowledge of vehicle engine, emission systems, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical systems to perform preventive and repair maintenance functions.
  • Engine chassis repair and maintenance, including knowledge of vehicle body control systems.
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems.
  • Safely operating welding tools to repair heavy equipment.
  • Identify malfunctions using electronic tools and ensure fleet meets DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of concrete ready-mix trucks, pneumatic trucks, and trailers, as well as Cummins engines and emission systems.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
  • Knowledge of air brakes and tires, as well as training in hydraulics and electrical systems.
  • Suspension, steering, and wheel-end components training, as well as drive train knowledge.
  • Available to work overtime and swing shifts.
