We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manufacturing Associate to join our team at WuXi AppTec. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the manufacture of Master and Working Cell Banks and performing activities within production facilities to support the manufacture of Cell & Gene Therapy products, and final product fills according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Key Responsibilities- Understand and apply aseptic technique concepts to ensure the highest quality of our products.
- Perform and troubleshoot equipment operations, and identify needs for corrective maintenance.
- Assist with sourcing and purchasing of standard equipment, and participate in facility start-ups.
- Participate in technical transfer activities, and provide feedback for facility fit.
- Execute validation activities, and provide input and reviews validation documentation.
- Schedule, receive, and organize materials, and perform material procurement activities.
- Use all support systems with demonstrated proficiency, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) on a system.
- Collect, record, review, perform analysis, interpret, and identify trends of scientific and process data per good document practices.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders scientific and process data, and recommend paths for forward processing.
- Follow compliance and regulatory requirements, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), and understand the 'why' behind the regulations.
We are looking for candidates with a High School diploma and over 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associates'/Bachelor's (science preferred) degree with over 3 years of relevant or equivalent experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Ability to accurately and reproducibly perform arithmetic calculations, including fractions, decimals, and percentages, and basic algebraic and geometric calculations.
- Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills, and able to read, write, and understand English.
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook).
