As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist at Henry Ford Health System, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging studies under general supervision. This includes preparing patients, positioning them, setting imaging parameters, and performing computer processing and displaying images.
Assists in developing protocols for patient studies and performs quality control procedures on equipment. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and must maintain the required hours of continued provider certification. Two years of experience in Radiography is recommended but not required.
Licenses Required:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) or registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) with the advanced ARRT registry in MRI. If registry eligible, registry must be obtained within 12 months of date of hire.
