Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide machining support for production tools, components, and engineering prototypes.
  • Continuously monitor machinery and equipment to ensure safe operation and the production of high-quality parts.
  • Make adjustments to machines to address dimensional non-conformities.
  • Deburr parts during machine operation.
  • Inspect parts and document measurements using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Interpret and understand production drawings and product specifications.
  • Participate in the selection of machine tools and workshop equipment.
  • Report any machine malfunctions and safety concerns.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for innovation and a proven history of successfully delivering new features and products. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience operating CNC machines, including mills, lathes, grinders, and band saws.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in 3-axis machining of complex components with stringent tolerances and developing custom fixtures as needed.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills to optimize part production methods.
  • Familiarity with metrology and various measuring instruments for part inspection.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
  • Experience with 5-axis CNC machining.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
  • Education requirements may be waived for candidates with substantial assembly experience.
