We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented Machinist who will be a part of every aspect of the product’s development.
As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the development and launch of core product features. Our vertically integrated company, including operations and engineering staff, are experienced veterans in providing low-power, lightweight solutions for capturing imagery across the spectrum. Key responsibilities include:
· Provides machining support for production tooling, components, and engineering development parts.
· Continuously monitors machine tools and equipment to ensure safe operation and production of quality parts.
· Adjusts machines according to dimensional for non-conformity.
· Deburr parts while the machine is operating.
· Checks parts and records measurements using micrometers and calipers.
· Able to understand and read production drawings and product requirements.
· Participate in the selection of machine tools and shop equipment.
· Report machine malfunctions and safety hazards.

Minimum qualifications:
· 2-3 years of experience operating Haas CNC including mills, lathes, grinders, band saws, etc.
· Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-project, multi-deadline, prototyping environment
· Proficient with 3-axis machining of complex parts with tight tolerances and developing custom fixtures, to support fabrication, as required
· Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills to come up with most efficient method of producing parts
· Familiar with metrology and various measuring instruments for part inspections
Preferred qualifications:
· Proficient with CAD/CAM software
· Experience with 5-axis CNC machining
· Experience working with 3D printers

· H.S. Diploma or Associates Degree
· Education requirements may be waived if the candidate has significant experience in assembly
