Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $112,000 and $147,000, depending on the credit hour assigned to the course. This compensation package reflects the value that we place on our faculty members' expertise and dedication.

Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional clinical instructor to join our team as a Pediatric Clinical Faculty member. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service. Your primary focus will be on planning clinical experiences for and providing direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care to individuals or groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, program outcomes, and course objectives through clinical teaching and service.
  • Plan clinical experiences for and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering care to individuals or groups.
  • Assume responsibility for all autonomous aspects of individual teaching loads.
  • Maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
  • Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on level of performance based on course objectives.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university, as well as an unencumbered professional nursing license in North Carolina. At least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of pediatrics as a registered nurse is also required. Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not necessary.
