Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Novant Health. This role is ideal for an experienced pharmacist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in pediatric settings.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy practice, with experience in pediatric ICU and general pediatrics. They will be responsible for facilitating pharmaceutical care services, medication utilization systems, and ensuring drug utilization activities are aligned with patient care needs, evidence-based best practices, and regulatory standards.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist will partner with healthcare providers to provide patient-centered care, make appropriate evidence-based medication recommendations, and participate in medical emergencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate pharmaceutical care services and medication utilization systems in pediatric units.
  • Ensure drug utilization activities align with patient care needs, evidence-based best practices, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with healthcare providers to provide patient-centered care.
  • Make appropriate evidence-based medication recommendations.
  • Participate in medical emergencies.

Required Qualifications
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy.
  • Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s).
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification preferred.
