Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Direct Support Professional at Sunrise Cedars, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day living support and guidance to individuals in their homes and community settings. This includes assisting with life skills, providing support with activities, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our clients.

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation.
  • Provide support with transportation to appointments and outings.
  • Engage in recreational activities and hobbies with clients to promote socialization and skill development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 21 years or older.
  • 1 year (preferred) of experience working with intellectually and physically disabled individuals in a residential setting.
  • A valid Maryland driver's license and a reliable vehicle are preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification and medication technician training are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
