Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer at Vulcan Materials Company, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of construction projects. Your expertise in structural design and materials handling systems will be essential in ensuring the success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Champion safety and ensure that all plant systems are safe for operating personnel
Develop structural general arrangement drawings, including steel and concrete requirements, and mechanical general arrangement drawings, including process flow diagrams
Provide design expertise with regards to material handling systems, including crushing, screening, conveying, and water pumping
Ensure all designs comply with appropriate design codes and local codes
Requirements
Degree in Engineering required, with a preference for BS Civil Engineer, BS Mechanical Engineer, or BS Structural Engineer
PE or EIT license preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
