One of the leading General Contractors is in search of a Construction Project Manager/Estimator to enhance their expanding workforce. The ideal candidate should possess 5-10 years of experience in Diverse Commercial Construction or Large Multifamily (200 units). Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Estimating team during the Preconstruction Phase.
  • Interpret and analyze Construction Plans and Specifications.
  • Guide and mentor junior Project Management staff on essential project management duties.
  • Develop long-term relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure future project opportunities.
  • Oversee the procurement process for Subcontractors and Vendors, including buyout completion, scope of work review, contract writing, and insurance and bonding evaluations.
  • Lead the resolution of drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and errors.
  • Manage the processing of all Submittals, RFI's, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, Time Sheet Management, Subcontractor/Vendor Billings, and Monthly Reports.
  • Ensure timely Owner Billings by verifying work-in-place quantities and billings from Subcontractors and Suppliers.
  • Oversee the creation of accurate monthly cost projections, forecasting total estimated costs at completion.
  • Monitor and create Project Schedules, providing regular progress updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing diverse Commercial Construction projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of building systems and construction methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with team members, industry partners, and clients.
  • Strong financial management skills with the capability to independently oversee all aspects of a project from inception to completion.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
