Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pantry Cook to contribute to the success of our culinary team at Americana Las Vegas. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the high standards of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Safety: Inspect and clean food preparation areas, ensuring safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Rotate and label products in the walk-in to maintain freshness.
  • Culinary Excellence: Taste and season dishes to ensure they meet our quality standards. Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with incoming shifts to prioritize prep tasks and ensure a smooth operation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a prep cook is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
  • Teachable: Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
  • Certifications: ServeSafe or Food Handlers certification is required (or willingness to attain).
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for success in this role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 30+ pounds and work standing for 8+ hours.
