Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of facilities at Loves Travel Stops locations. This includes coordinating daily repairs, managing maintenance expenses, and developing training materials for store personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage daily repairs for all travel stops and facilities in the assigned territory.
  • Oversee maintenance expense review and approval, and control costs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for repairs and maintenance.
  • Coach and train store personnel on proper maintenance procedures.
  • Report and track repairs using the Big Sky maintenance management software.

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 10 years experience in facilities maintenance or related field preferred.
  • Experience in petroleum fuel systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, roofing, concrete and asphalt parking lots, carpentry, and millwork preferred.

Skills and Physical Demands:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage 200+ emails per day.
  • Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high stress environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
