About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our pediatric therapy team in Lynchburg, VA. As an SLP with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced SLP to provide early intervention services to children in our community. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with pediatric patients and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide early intervention services to children in their homes and in clinic-based settings
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program
  • Current licensure to practice Speech Therapy in the state of Virginia
  • Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in early intervention settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
