  • Transport Patients: Safely transport patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed, or chair to and from designated areas or departments, complying with all safety protocols and using proper body mechanics.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation: Accurately document patient transport information and complete handoffs with clinical staff, ensuring seamless communication and care.
  • Operate Mobile Devices: Utilize company-issued mobile devices to facilitate patient transport and communication.
  • Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain wheelchairs and stretchers, sanitizing equipment according to established protocols and reporting any malfunctions.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Comply with established PPE guidelines and proper handling of patients to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Education: High school coursework required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) training course certification required upon hire.
