Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Internist to join our team at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital. As an Internist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various medical conditions
  • Conduct physical examinations, take medical histories, and order diagnostic tests as needed
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, surgery, and other interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, techniques, and technologies
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • Current licensure to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida
  • Experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in an internist role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
