About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting healing and recovery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patients with complex wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, and surgical wounds.
  • Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, including debridement, dressing changes, and other treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on wound care and prevention.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
  • 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in wound care or a related field.
