Surgical Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Care Specialist to join our team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Assume independent responsibility for the direct care of patients during the pre/post phases of surgical care.
- Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive nursing care during the peri-operative phase.
- Coordinate total patient care in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Function as a patient advocate, utilizing the Patients' Bill of Rights to ensure patient-centered care.
- Assist in providing direction and supervision of nursing and support staff, as needed.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Washington Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an OR setting.
