Key Responsibilities:

The Animal Care Division is looking for dedicated individuals to manage the sanitation of various animal enclosures and equipment.

The role involves cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing animal habitats in accordance with established regulatory standards and internal protocols.

Employees will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of animal cages, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Daily monitoring and upkeep of equipment is essential to guarantee proper functionality, along with following procedures for addressing any malfunctions.

Record-keeping of operations is required, as well as assembling animal housing setups, including bedding and water supplies, which will be sterilized for use with animals needing sterile environments.

Maintaining an inventory of sanitized cages to meet daily operational needs and emergency situations is crucial.

Responsibilities also include unpacking and storing feed and bedding materials appropriately, while keeping the workspace organized and ensuring that necessary supplies are readily available. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
  • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to one hour
  • Prior experience in cleaning roles
  • Comfortable working in proximity to animals
  • Ability to disinfect surfaces, inspect facilities, and manage supply needs
  • Knowledge of safe chemical handling and use of protective gear
  • Ability to respond appropriately to various situations
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a diverse environment is essential
Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience in an animal care facility
Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday (8 AM to 2 PM)
