Production Logistics Coordinator

Tate, a global provider of innovative solutions for raised access flooring, structural ceilings, and modular prefabricated aisle containment systems, is expanding its operations with a new manufacturing facility in Virginia.

Job Responsibilities- Maintain Supply Chain Efficiency: Ensure production lines receive necessary supplies to meet targets by handling materials effectively.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Material Receipt and Storage: Verify quantities, store items properly, and organize inventory for easy retrieval.
- Fulfill Production Orders: Pick materials from inventory and deliver them to designated production areas accurately.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of material transactions, update inventory systems, and complete necessary paperwork.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform other duties assigned by Team Leader or Supervisor.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in warehouse and shipping.
- Math Skills: Basic math skills necessary.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Teamwork: Capacity to work in a team environment and interact with diverse colleagues.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Certifications: Must have current and valid Driver's License.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and ability to use online real-time manufacturing control systems.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate Forklift, Combi-Lift, and other equipment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, based on industry standards and location.
