POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of financial services, including account management, time deposit renewals, and client support for inquiries and issues. Collaborates with the Teller Supervisor to train and inspire lobby staff to enhance customer service and effectively promote bank products and services. Possesses foundational knowledge of basic deposit and loan offerings, while identifying sales and referral opportunities to achieve targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures professional execution of financial service tasks.
  • Communicates and clarifies Bank offerings to clients, assisting in fulfilling their financial requirements, including account management for checking, savings, time deposits, and retirement accounts, along with services related to safe deposit boxes, savings bonds, credit cards, and consumer loans.
  • Addresses client inquiries and resolves issues by actively listening, gathering information, and providing solutions.
  • Analyzes client profiles to uncover sales prospects.
  • Employs lead generation techniques and other strategies to enhance business development.
Maintains effective and professional client relationships.
  • Handles client requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Processes new client accounts and updates existing accounts as necessary.
  • Safeguards the confidentiality of customer account information.
  • Upholds and represents the Bank's professional image.
Facilitates collaboration with team members and management.
  • Provides assistance to team members as needed.
  • Keeps the Banking Center Manager updated on relevant activities and challenges.
  • Completes necessary reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participates in training sessions and meetings as required.
  • Oversees annual reporting and special projects related to the banking center.
  • Reviews new account entries for accuracy.
  • Supports Treasury Management with client account setups and services.
  • Ensures daily logs are accurately maintained and organized for review.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Actively promotes Bank products and services, striving to meet sales goals.
  • Handles related administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Ensures workspaces are secure, clean, and well-organized.
MEASUREMENT OF SUCCESS

Financial service functions are executed efficiently and accurately, adhering to established policies and security protocols. Strong client relationships are fostered, with timely resolution of inquiries and issues. Effective collaboration with team members and management is maintained, with accurate reporting and documentation. Continuous efforts are made to cultivate new client relationships and enhance existing ones by identifying sales opportunities. The Bank's professional reputation is consistently upheld.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Knowledge:
Solid understanding of financial services and products offered.

Experience Required:
Customer service experience preferred. Previous experience as a Personal Banker or in banking is advantageous.

Skills/Abilities:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Proficient in operating relevant computer applications and business equipment. Strong mathematical and bookkeeping skills.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
40 hours per week.
