About the Role

Rush Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a high level of technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Perform general and detailed repair of all trucks, engines, and components, including overhaul of gas or diesel engines.
  • Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk.
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years' experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility
