Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
- Assess health status, perform telephone triage, and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
- Establish and coordinate care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Deliver health education to patients and families, adapting and documenting education to meet individual needs.
- Assist with specialized diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as patient care equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, monitoring patient response.
- Participate in quality initiatives, process improvement, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Minimum two years of RN clinical experience.
